What Is

What Is FaceTite?What Is FaceTite?

FaceTite is a minimally-invasive bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy device that helps tighten the skin and contour the face without surgery.  It is ideal for sagging jowls, submental fullness and loose skin.

How Does
It Work?

During your FaceTite cosmetic procedure, Dr. Fedok gently contracts and contours the tissue in the subdermal plane. The radiofrequency treatment is performed under local anesthesia to ensure your comfort. The heat energy dissolves fat cells and stimulates collagen production for a tighter, firmer, slimmer, and younger-looking appearance. Dr. Fedok’s FaceTite treatment is ideal for patients experiencing early signs of aging. It gives a subtle lift to the facial structures where the skin appears loose and sagging.

Who Are Ideal Candidates?

Anyone with early signs of facial aging who wants to rejuvenate their face should consider FaceTite RF treatment. You may be an ideal candidate if you are in good health, are a non-smoker, have realistic expectations and do not suffer from any pre-existing medical conditions that may adversely affect treatment and recovery.

The FaceTite Treatment

During the procedure, bipolar radiofrequency energy passes from the hand-held FaceTite applicator through an internal electrode placed just beneath your skin.  This thermal heating of the reticular dermis triggers the body’s natural healing process and stimulates collagen contraction for skin tightening and contouring.

It is normal to experience some swelling and pain after your FaceTite treatment. Your treatment area may have compression garments applied to help your skin heal and tighten. You can expect, on average, two days of downtime. It is important to follow Dr. Fedok’s recovery guidelines and to contact his office directly should you have any questions or concerns during your recovery.

FaceTite: Risks and Side Effects

Risks and Side Effects

All procedures present an element of risk or side effects. FaceTite radiofrequency energy-based cosmetic treatment risks may include infection, bleeding, swelling, and bruising. Working with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon significantly reduces these risks and side effects. The cost of FaceTite at Fedok Plastic Surgery varies depending on the extent of the area being treated and the specific needs of the patient. FaceTite is performed under local anesthesia or light sedation to ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure. Most patients report feeling minimal discomfort during the treatment. Post-procedure, any mild soreness or swelling is typically manageable with over-the-counter pain medication and resolves within a few days.

The results are long-lasting, with many patients enjoying the benefits for several years. The procedure stimulates collagen production, leading to improvements in skin tightness and contour that continue to enhance over the months following treatment. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and skin care regimen can help prolong the results.

FaceTite and AccuTite are both minimally invasive procedures utilizing radiofrequency energy to tighten skin and melt fat. The primary difference lies in the size of the area they are designed to treat. FaceTite is ideal for larger areas such as the lower face, neck, and jowls, offering more comprehensive results. AccuTite, on the other hand, is designed for smaller, more delicate areas requiring precise treatment, such as the brows, nasolabial folds, and areas around the eyes.

Initial improvements from FaceTite can often be seen immediately after the procedure, with the most significant results becoming apparent after 3-6 months as new collagen is produced and the skin continues to tighten.
